The 2024 718 Boxster’s base trim is a sports car masterpiece with a superbly balanced chassis and crisp handling. The engine pairs with a standard 6-speed manual transmission for a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. For faster acceleration, drivers can upgrade to a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission for a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
A rainbow of standard, metallic, and special exterior colors pair with a stylish, comfortable interior. 718 Boxster Style Edition
The fancy twin of the base trim, the 718 Boxster Style Edition is a stunner. This model comes with the same motor and performance options as the base Boxster, but unique exterior and interior design elements boost its visual appeal.
Highlights include contrasting color combinations inside and out, sporty decals on the hood, sides, and rear, and 20-inch 718 Spyder wheels in a High Gloss Black finish. This trim also boasts a variety of optional no-cost features, such as the change of color of the 718 designation logo on the rear.
718 Boxster S
Designed for more power, the Boxster S trim pairs a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK transmission for a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 or 4.2 seconds, respectively. The bigger engine also delivers more power than the base trim. Drivers can expect 350 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque for a top speed of 177 miles per hour.
Porsche’s Sport Chronos Package, available optionally, further improves performance with an acceleration time of 4.0 seconds. Similar to the base trim, the Boxster S comes standard with 2-way sport seats upgradeable to 14-way power sport seats or 18-way adaptive sport seats with memory function for the positions of the driver’s seat and side mirrors.
718 Boxster GTS 4.0
The range-topper GTS 4.0 offers outstanding performance with its 4.0-liter, six-cylinder naturally aspired engine that produces a roaring 394 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package comes standard for a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds in the 6-speed manual transmission configuration. With the 7-speed DPK, this stylish car gets to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.8 seconds.
Beyond the powerful engine, this model boasts a host of performance features, such as lowered suspensions for improved balance and handling and 20-inch 718 wheels.
