See Why Critics and Drivers Rave About the 2021 Porsche 911Porsche aficionados have plenty to be happy about with the release of the newest edition of the legendary 911 sports coupe. This is a car so fast, sleek, and stunning to look at that it will have heads spinning everywhere it goes. The 2021 Porsche 911 is not just eye candy though – this is a vehicle with world-class handling and ride quality that can easily hold its own among any of the greatest luxury sports cars on the market today.

Porsche Envy

If you are one of the lucky few who is in the enviable position of being able to go Porsche shopping, we have some details here that will interest you. Porsche is offering more 911 variations than ever, with four flat-six engine alternatives and a slew of trims. Carrera S models have an optional seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, while the base Carrera and all Turbo trims are automatic only.

Even the most entry-level 911 has 379 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque (these numbers make quite a jump once you get to the S model, reaching 443 hp and 390 lb-ft). Both the base and S trims can be equipped with all-wheel drive, which is a great option to have if you plan to drive your 911 in all four seasons.

Porsche 911 Trims

If you want to get your foot in the door at the Porsche Club, the most basic 911 is the Carrera. There is a choice of four different Carrera trims (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S) and you can select a coupe or convertible. Once you get into the Targa and Turbo trims, the price tag rises sharply for a Targa 4S  and you have the option for additional custom packages, mechanical options, and extra interior/exterior detailing. Of course, there are countless mid-range possibilities as well, which we’ll be glad to go over with you.

What’s New for 2021?

Porsche has upgraded the 911’s driver-assist menu (now known as “InnoDrive,”) adding lane-keeping assist to the available selection. The front-axle lift system (also optional) adds GPS capability so that it can be programmed to automatically raise the vehicle’s nose at pre-determined locations. Porsche’s most eye-catching update to the 911 is the introduction of Python Green paint. There are also some formerly pricey options that now come standard, including the 930 Leather package to dress up the interior of lower-level models.

What About the Interior?

Thanks to Porsche’s a-la-carte options menu, interiors can vary widely. However, the overall impression when you get into any 911 coupe or convertible is supreme luxury and sophistication. Comfort and convenience have not been overlooked – the driver’s seat and steering column are highly adjustable, and there is a decent amount of storage and leg room for this class of vehicle.
